Taking Sides
a psychotherapy group

How are your relationships with others? How is your relationship with yourself? We each have different sides. Our different sides can both complement and conflict with each other and with the different sides of others.

This therapy group offers a superb opportunity to work on your relationships with yourself and others. I provide a space that's both caring and challenging. You develop different relationships with different group members, and those relationships mirror the relationships between the different sides of yourself. Group therapy can complement individual therapy and medication. Group therapy is a great value.

I welcome group members who reflect different sides of our society. In fact, my preference is for diversity, for example, as far as age, marital status, race, ethnicity, gender, sexual and political orientation, religion, social class -- and diagnosis.

We meet weekly, on Thursdays from 6:15 to 7:30 pm, in downtown Chicago.

I've run an online support group for 20 years and have served on the board of the American Group Psychotherapy Association.
